In the winter of 2006, Pastor Gary Hall approached us full of great ideas about Calvary Chapel's new web site, Calvary Chapel is a non-denominational church in Greeneville, Tennessee.
They wanted a fully featured web site, complete with a web log and content management system. We delivered an accessible, web standard compliant web site, powered by Movable Type.
Since Tennessee is a state with such visible seasons, we suggested having different styles for each season. The site will automatically handle the season changes, keeping the site fresh and clean.

Beenfunkd.com is a site based on a simple premise: a place for people to turn to when they feel they have been taken advantage of by a business owner, a neighbor, a customer, an employer or an employee.
For this assignment, Bopia developed a custom web application that handles user account management and includes a membership-based secure payment system. We also developed a friend referral system, as well as administrative sections and referral reimbursement systems.
Like Beenfunkd.com, Beensatisfied.com is an online public referral system. Except the purpose of the site is not to complain, but to compliment businesses who provide exceptional service and businesses as well as honest and fair consumers.
We set up the site to provide a list of trustworthy consumers and businesses, which is gathered positive, real-life experiences. Beenfunkd.com’s owners were extremely happy with our capabilities of completing the project under budget and ahead of schedule. They contracted us to expand their online services to a free online referral system.

A clean and modern approach to web design with influences by print and poster layout.
This design was inspired by a print out we saw in Portland, Oregon. We were intrigued by strongly defined columns and variety of sizes. The nice contrasts between the live green and black directs attention the the important areas of the site.

Inspired by the season, we developed custom templates for MovableType, a widely known content management system.
The templates showcased a large collection of articles and data was nicely distributed and easy to find. We replaced that version with simpler and more straight forward design in April of 2007.
